The 25 Safest Spring Break Destinations in the U.S. - Page 2

A new study on the safest spring break destinations in the U.S. ranked a popular Texas city in its top-5. The study, conducted by personal injury law firm 844SeeMike, listed Austin at No. 5. Two other Texas cities made this top-25 as well, with Corpus Christi and San Antonio coming in at No. 14 and No. 15 respectively. On the flip side, South Padre Island was listed as the fourth-most-dangerous spring break destination in the U.S.

The study looked at 31 popular spring break destinations in the U.S. and graded them based on population, homicides, DUI incidents, pedestrian incidents, cyclist incidents, hit-and-run incidents, alcohol deaths and drowning deaths per 100,000 people. Each city was assessed a 0-100 grade for each metric, with “0” being the lowest risk and “100” being the highest risk.
