Last night at the 2013 BMI Awards in NYC, Young Money/ Cash Money bosses Birdman and Slim were honored with a slew of nostalgic performances by former money men. In the midst of the blaring testosterone, Trina surprised the audience with a tribute to Nicki Minaj. Dressed in a Nicki inspired ensemble and blonde wig, Trina rapped the lyrics to Nicki’s “Moment For Life.”
Nicki, who was present, won seven awards. She posted these photos on her Instagram account:

Chris Brown Is Upset…Again
In today’s “have a seat news,” Chris Brown stands before a stadium with plenty to choose. Despite avoiding jail time (stemming from a hit-and-run accident), which is reason enough to celebrate, Breezy frowned at the 1000 hours of community service he was given as an alternate. The “Sweet Love” singer took to Twitter to vent his frustrations.

Kim Kardashian Is Kanye West’s “Joy”
Kanye West is happier these days. The new father boasted a cheeky smile while sitting down with his soon-to-be mother-in-law (we speculate) Kris Jenner on her show “Kris,” where he gushed over the mother of his child. “I’m being with this person because I love this person, and she’s worth it to me. My grandfather just passed and his whole thing, it was never about money. It was never about popularity. His whole thing was joy and having joy in his life. She’s my joy and she brought my new joy into the world. There’s no paparazzi and there’s no blog comment that’s going to take that joy from me,” he revealed.
He even admitted that Kim was his dream girl!
I just dreamed about being next to her and…I don’t know. I don’t want to start jumping up and down on the couch or anything.

Tamar Announce “Love & War” Book
Where does this woman find the time? Tamar is officially rocking the very bejeweled crown for being the hardest working woman in show business!
In between being a new mom, filming the new seasons of “Braxton Family Values” and ” Tamar and Vince,” prepping for the release of her album “Love & War,” shooting the test-run for daytime talk show “The Real,” and going on tour with John Legend, the boisterous Braxton announced that she and hubby Vince are penning a book titled “Love & War.” “I find time to do everything because I love everything I do,” she said before dishing on the book that will be coming out on Black Friday.
“The book is called ‘Love & War’ as well. Vince and I wrote it. You get to hear my story, then you Vince’s story, then you get to hear our story.”
