Looking for a way to enjoy the beauty of nature this Earth Day without spending a dime? You’re in luck! In honor of Earth Day, the Great Parks of Hamilton County will be offering free admission to all of its park locations on Tuesday—a perfect opportunity to connect with the outdoors and soak in the springtime scenery.

Typically, visitors need a daily pass or an annual vehicle permit to explore these parks, but this special Earth Day initiative opens the gates to everyone, free of charge. Popular spots like Winton Woods, Miami Whitewater Forest, and Woodland Mound will all be participating.

This event is part of the Great Parks’ nine community days throughout the year, designed to give back and foster a deeper appreciation for nature and green spaces. Whether you’re planning a quiet hike, a family picnic, or a scenic bike ride, there’s no better time to visit.

One of the featured parks, Woodland Mound, located at 8250 Old Kellogg Road in Anderson Township, offers stunning views of the Ohio River, nature trails, picnic areas, and a fun playground for kids—making it an ideal Earth Day destination for all ages.

So pack a lunch, grab your walking shoes, and get outside this Tuesday to celebrate our planet the best way possible—by enjoying it.
