Green Township Police Investigating Student Assault at Oak Hills High School

Authorities in Green Township are currently investigating a serious altercation that took place at Oak Hills High School, leaving one student hospitalized with a traumatic brain injury. The incident, which reportedly occurred after a confrontation between two students, has sparked concerns from parents and the broader school community.

According to the victim’s mother, her son was attacked and repeatedly punched by another student, ultimately leaving him unconscious on the ground. He was later diagnosed with a concussion and a traumatic brain injury, raising alarms about the severity of the assault and the safety protocols in place at the school.

The Oak Hills School District confirmed that it has completed its internal investigation into the incident. While the details of the disciplinary actions taken have not been fully disclosed, officials stated that the alleged attacker received the “maximum punishment” allowed under school policy. Despite this, the student will reportedly be returning to school under a “stay-away agreement,” which is intended to prevent further contact between the students involved.

In the meantime, Green Township police are continuing their investigation to determine whether criminal charges will be filed. The school district has indicated full cooperation with law enforcement throughout the process.

The situation has ignited conversation among parents, students, and community members regarding student safety, transparency, and the adequacy of consequences following violent incidents on school grounds.

More updates are expected as the investigation develops.
