The highly anticipated TINA – The Tina Turner Musical is set to kick off the 2024-2025 Broadway in Wilmington season at The Playhouse on Rodney Square, marking its Delaware premiere.
The limited engagement in Wilmington will run from October 11-13, 2024, with single tickets now available for purchase at broadwayinwilmington.org. A talented cast and creative team support singer-songwriter Jayna Elise in the production’s lead role.
TINA – The Tina Turner Musical tells the inspiring story of Tina Turner’s remarkable journey to become the global Queen of Rock ‘n’ Roll, celebrating her resilience and triumph over adversity.
The musical, which has garnered critical acclaim and numerous awards, brings to life the powerful story of Tina Turner, one of the most influential and dynamic performers in music history. Through a score packed with iconic hits such as “What’s Love Got to Do with It,” “Proud Mary,” and “Simply the Best,” TINA tells the inspiring tale of Turner’s journey from her modest beginnings in Nutbush, Tennessee, to her rise as a global superstar.
